Hazardous Materials

The purpose of auditing hazardous materials is to:

• Determine the extent, location and quantity of hazardous materials, substances and chemicals at the subject premises.
• Register analysis results for implementing correct procedures for risk management and safe work methods for proposed or future building works.

The most common types of hazardous materials that we audit and provide recommendations for, are:

• Asbestos containing materials (ACM's) read more...
• Lead based paint
• Synthetic mineral fibres (SMF's)
• Polychlorinated biphenyl materials
• Toxic mould
• Formaldehyde

Any other types of hazardous materials can also be identified if requested e.g. refrigerant gases, effluents.
