Not fully understanding the clauses and conditions of a contract signed
with a house builder can become a costly and inconvenient experience
for new home owners.
Progress Inspections are undertaken periodically during the construction
of a new home/unit as a safeguard against defective works not completed
to tradesman-like standards.
Within the 6 months following completion of your new home, our Pre
6 Month Audit will identify maintenance or structural defect issues
requiring the Builder’s rectification and which are covered under
their Builder’s insurance warranty.
For the 6 ½year period following completion of your new home,
the licensed builder contracted to perform the works are liable to fix
any noticeable defects under the BSA insurance conditions.
Handover/Pre-Settlement Inspections take place before the final payment
is made to the builder to ensure that the property is finally complete
