Under the Workplace Health and Safety Act, the ' person in control '
of a workplace has a legal obligation to ensure their building is compliant
with regulations.
Section 30(1) of the WHS Act states the following should occur:
- the risk of injury/illness from a workplace is minimised for persons
coming onto the workplace to work
- the risk of injury/illness from any plant or substance provided
by the person for the performance of work by someone other than the
persons' workers is minimised when used properly
- that there is appropriate, safe access to and from the workplace
for persons other than the persons' workers
Our experienced Workplace Health and Safety Officers can undertake
an inspection to assist you in determining whether there are any building
issues which need attention.
Our produced report will:
- Clearly identify hazards and provide digital photographs illustrating
their location.
- Assess risks that may result because of the hazards.
- Provide control measures and recommendations for the rectification
of hazards or minimising the level of risks present and future.
Please contact us if you have an enquiry or to book an inspection.
